Don, an Oakland University Graduate, began his insurance career in 1968 and has been a fully licensed agent since 1971. Don went on to become a partner in 1981 and sole owner of the agency in 2001. He is a past president of the Macomb County Independent Agent Association and Richmond Lions Club. Don has lived in the Richmond area his entire life. He currently resides in Lenox with his wife Irene. They have three grown children: Scott, Kyle and Amy. They also have three grandchildren.

Scott, an Oakland University Graduate, began working in the insurance industry in 1996. He began his career with Titan Insurance Company, and then moved to Meemic Insurance Company before joining Penwarden-Simmons as a fully licensed agent in 2000. Scott currently lives in Richmond Township with his wife Becki. They have 3 children: Emily, Abigail, and Joseph.

Kyle, an Oakland University Graduate, joined Penwarden-Simmons in January of 2005 and was fully licensed in October of that same year. Prior to joining the family business, Kyle worked as a Director of Golf at Pine Trace Golf Club in Rochester Hills. Currently, Kyle is single and lives in Shelby Township.

Peggy has been working along side us since 1989. She's a knowledgeable experienced Customer Service Representative with experience handling claims, billing and coverage questions. She lives in Richmond with her husband Jim. They have two grown children: Jodi and Kevin. They also have two grandchildren.
